PH x College Spring 2022

College Night Fall 2021 = PH x College

PH x College (formerly College Night) aims to provide real resources to students who are interested in pursuing careers in art, design, and museums, with an emphasis on breaking down the pathways and barriers that can intimidate young professionals when planning for their futures. Poster House’s student programming provides professional development opportunities such as a lecture series of museum professionals across departments and throughout the world of design, as well as creative workshops, resumé reviews, and direct mentorship with museum staffers.

Peter Max Clock Painting

Mar 4, 2022
3pm

Peter Max’s colorful, psychedelic designs with motifs drawn from Art Nouveau and Eastern painting traditions are hallmarks of the visual identity of the 1960s. Max created  commissions and advertisements for a wide range of clients, from the Woodstock Music Festival (Summer of Love) to bedsheets to clocks for General Electric (GE), the latter of which act as  inspiration for this event.

Held on a First Friday, access to the museum is free, and we encourage you to come early and browse the Shop, enjoy our exhibitions, and order treats from the Café!
