Have you ever wondered about the history of posters and how they became so ubiquitous? From train stations to bodega windows, posters are everywhere! This month, join Poster Kids to learn about some of the world’s earliest posters. Afterwards, create artwork using a color layering process inspired by printing techniques of the past and present!
Materials:
Tracing paper, vellum or cello-paper
Colorful permanent markers
Paper and pencil
This online event will be hosted on Zoom. Closed Captioning will be provided. Poster Kids will not be recorded due to the presence of minors. Questions about accessibility? Please email Salvador Muñoz, Public Programs Manager, at salvador@posterhouse.org.
