Poster Kids: Cosmic Creations

Join Poster House on the last Sunday morning of every month, from 9:15–10:15am for a family-friendly, interactive, virtual poster tour and a related art-making experience. Admission is free; advanced registration is required in order to receive link access and a list of suggested materials. See below for details.

Peter Max’s colorful, fantastical designs are some of the most commercially successful of the 1960s. After engaging with his posters from the current exhibition Peter Max: Cosmic Advertising, as well as other pop and psychedelic work from the period, we will create our own whimsical diorama worlds that reach across space and time!

shoebox or cereal box
construction paper
markers
glue
scissors
felt/fabric scraps
modeling clay
small found objects
