Open House New York Weekend

Every October, Open House New York Weekend unlocks the doors of New York’s most important buildings, offering an extraordinary opportunity to experience the city and meet the people who design, build, and preserve New York.

In light of the pandemic, this year’s festival will feature a hybrid of virtual experiences and outdoor self-guided explorations. Poster House is thrilled to be participating by offering a behind-the-scenes tour of our archives with our Collections Manager, Melissa Walker.

Open House New York is a nonprofit organization that advocates for an open and inclusive city. In addition to OHNY Weekend, Open House New York organizes a wide range of programs all year long that provide broad audiences with unparalleled access to the extraordinary architecture and urban design of New York and to the people who help design, build, and preserve the city.
