Acclaimed art historian Paul Stirton will talk about our exhibition Designing Through The Wall: Cyan in the 1990s as it relates to the larger trajectory of German poster and print-making heritage.
Copies of his book Jan Tschichold and the New Typography as well as our companion exhibition booklet which he contributed to will be available for purchase and signing.
Paul Stirton is associate professor of modern European design history at Bard Graduate Center in New York City and the editor-in-chief of West 86th: A Journal of Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture.
